HIGH SIDE (animated short)
Infamous bikers “The Gold Vipers” are taking over the city. On a pivotal night, Tami uncovers a difficult truth about them.
Directed by Elina Nie!
For the score, Elina and I decided on a number of different styles to fit the film, including modern club bangers from pop to hip hop, mystery, and thrilling anime-esque action.
“There is nothing here except me and the corpse that whispers play pretend.”

DEEP BREATHS is a nautical scifi horror game developed by myself and a wonderful team of folks for the NaNoRenO 2024 game jam. In the dark depths of the ocean sits Calliste-17, a submersible managed by a small team to further the research and agenda of corporate greed. What should have been a routine mission erupts in chaos when you, Krybdis, waken to a ravaged ship and a familiar voice on the radio.
Somber synths, electric cello, distorted flute, and piano accompany your journey from the depths.

AKANKSHA ON THE PLANET BLARG is the story of a young Indian girl who struggles with cultural identity and alienation during a regular school day, as she writes and illustrates a story of her own to cope. Directed by Apoorva Rege!
For the score, we wanted the score to represent not only the tone of the film but also stand in place of dialogue to tell the story. I used traditional Indian instruments (harmonium, sitar, santur, etc) in motifs representing Akanksha’s struggle with the language and culture having moved back to India from the US.
I’m honored to announce that I won First Place at the Berlin International Film Scoring 2022 Competition! Thank you to the judges, and congrats to all other finalists and award winners. This was a lot of fun to score!
